Surrey Swim School’s philosophy is that swimming can be learnt through structured, planned lessons with friendly, caring teachers. Swimming is a life-saving skill and can also be the beginning of many enjoyable water experiences such as scuba diving, wind surfing or water ski-ing. Our main goal is for swimmers to enjoy the water.
All teachers who work for Surrey Swim School are qualified with relevant rescue tests and DBS checks. They are enthusiastic about their teaching, well organised and very approachable. They offer structured, planned lessons in a friendly, caring environment. Each term all Surrey Swim School swimmers receive a Progress Report.
Surrey Swim School follows the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme which assists our teachers to organise progressive lessons for the swimmers. It is a recognised teaching plan that is used throughout the country and is based on sound technical and educational principles.
Surrey Swim School’s teaching venues are Banstead Prep School in Banstead and St. John’s School, Leatherhead.
